
Question by Cree: How accurate is the farmers almanac?
I heard that there was going to be a hard winter where i live according to the farmer’s almanac. i told someone eles and they told me not to worry because those things arent accurate. Are they?

People who follow the Farmers’ Almanac’s weather predictions say they’re about 80-85% accurate.
On the other hand, professional meteorologists are more skeptical. “The ability to predict events that far in advance is zero,” says Paul Knight. “There’s no proven skill, there’s no technique that’s agreed upon in science to be able to do that.”
